When I started Construction Law Musings back in December of 2008, I
did so on a whim. I had heard that a blog was a good way to get ideas out there
and that I could get some benefit, so I dove right in and charged ahead. Before I started the blog, I had profiles in what I thought were all the
“right” places, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, JDSupra, etc. but did not see much of a payoff.
Thanks to Grant Griffiths for the opportunity.

When I started Guest Post Fridays at my Construction Law Musings blog, I had no Idea what would become of it. I have had a great response from other bloggers (and you know who you are). Little did I know that I would have so much fun and be looking forward to the next Guest Post Friday as much as I hope my readers do.
These regular Guest Posts (check out the tag for Guest Post Fridays at the blog) range from the Employer Free Choice Act, to green building, to a great interview by Amy Derby (the law firm blogger). Each has its own flavor and perspective and each adds to my blog by allowing me the pleasure of expanding my knowledge and those of my readers by brining in folks who really know their stuff!
I hope you all enjoy them as much as I do.

Because I meet folks that make great comments like this from Lawrence Berezin. Please also follow him on Twitter at @LarryBerezin.
I don't seek out this type of feedback, but it highlights for me the wonders that I was missing when I started to blog and dive into social networking. I do truly appreciate the time that readers take in reading Musings and can only hope that readers get the same kick out of reading the posts as I do in writing them.
Thanks again to Larry and all the others I have met on this journey.
